Textured "Ruffian" style nails

I've got something a little different today nail wise. I've never tried the Ruffian look before and decided to go for something textured to try it out! Using two coats of OPI's Jinx as the base colour, I then layered over one coat of NYC's Full Metal Jacket slightly further down the nail. I really like how this look came out! This is definitely a look that is super quick to do which just gives you something a little different from a plain colour if you want a little pizzazz! The textured nature of Jinx also made the gold take on the same texture and even though it looks really rough, there is something about it that I really like!

31 day challenge - Day 31 - Recreate your favourite challenge!

The day has come! The very last challenge is here and I kind of bent the rules a little.. Rather than recreating my favourite look I instead chose a prompt and re-did the whole thing completely differently and the one I chose was inspired by a movie! I wanted to go out with something that I love and I do love films (if you know me, you know just how obsessed I am!), especially Marvel films! This look is therefore dedicated to Spider-Man!

31 day challenge - Day 17 - Glitter

I have returned! Finally on the mend from my illness I bring you the glitter challenge! This look turned out okay, though not the best in the world as I was still feeling shoddy when I did this! Excuses, excuses, I know!

31 day nail challenge - Day 1 - Red

After seeing many bloggers try the 31 day nail challenge I decided that I wanted to give it a go myself! The list of prompts is as follows:

The first day is red and this is what I came up with:

I'm not in love with this design (probably not a good way to start!) but it seemed like a nice variation of plain red! Tomorrow's challenge of orange is going to be much better (promise!).
